As part of our commitment to minimize waste, we are always looking for creative and useful ways to use leftover concrete.  One of our favourite things to make is concrete soap dishes.   Not only do they make a great accent piece in just about any bathroom.  They also make your soap last longer!   

Because concrete is porous, any standing water around your soap is absorbed by the concrete, drying out the soap and significantly extending its lifespan.  Great for bar shampoo as well.   

Soak in clean water and scrub to clean.  

Pair with a handmade or locally made soap or shampoo bar for a perfect gift.
