Concrete colours

All of our colours are created using integral dyes designed specifically for concrete.   The dye is added right into the mix to ensure that the colour of your slabs will be consistent throughout, making it easier to refinish your surfaces down the road if need be.   Our dyes are UV stable and weather resistant, and safe for food surfaces.  With the exception of white, there is no additional charge for standard colours, so go ahead and pick the one that makes you smile.  

Aggregate options

In addition to colour, if you are working with us on a custom project, you can also specify the type of aggregate (crushed stone) that you would like in your slabs, and the level of ‘exposure’ – that is, how much of the crushed stone you would like to see on the surface. 

We currently offer two basic aggregate options:

• traprock (grey & black with occasional white flecks)
• river rock (a more colourful range of browns and greys)

…and two accent options:

• NEW! glow-in-the-dark marble glow stones
• (Coming soon) crushed recycled glass

Aggregate exposure can range from a fine ‘salt and pepper’ finish, for a uniform surface with minimal aggregate showing, to heavy exposure, for a terrazzo look – and anything in-between.  If you want to make your piece stand out without added cost, consider an organic finish, with varied exposure across the surface. While we take your preferences to heart when polishing, please note that we cannot guarantee where the aggregate falls during production.  Expect to see some variation in exposure, regardless of the requested finish.

If you would like to see physical colour samples, we invite you to visit our showroom, or contact us to request a sample box via mail.  We are pleased to provide free sample sets to our industry partners to assist in client consultations.  Please note that, due to natural variations in the raw materials and our commitment to continuous product improvement, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match with the samples.
